Obituaries

Erich Freund resident of Camberwell Lane Ide Hill died on Tuesday August 1st 2006. The funeral service will be at St Mary Ide Hill on Thursday August 8th at 3pm, followed by burial in the churchyard. Erich will be remembered as the character who at the Ide Hill Fair sat in the Well and encouraged youngsters to complete the tortuous trail of threading a disc along a wire without completing the electric circuit. A member of the Ide Hill Society he could be found with camera in hand seeking an unusual shot to record history.
